Our journey begins in Coyhaique, where we set off toward the starting point of the trek. Along the way, our expert local guides, who are deeply familiar with the region, will accompany you to ensure a safe and enriching experience.

As you progress, you’ll cross native forests and ascend to the base camp, enjoying panoramic views of the towering granite spires of the Torres del Avellano. Each day is carefully planned to let you fully immerse yourself in this unique environment, including a day dedicated to exploration, with the option to hike to nearby viewpoints offering unparalleled vistas of Patagonia.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Departure from Coyhaique to the trekking starting point. Approximately 6 hours of hiking to the first camp, crossing native forests and crystal-clear rivers.
  • Day 2: Ascent to the base camp of the Torres del Avellano, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. 5 hours of hiking.
  • Day 3: Exploration day around the Torres del Avellano, with the option to hike to nearby viewpoints for spectacular views.
  • Day 4: Descent and return to the starting point, followed by transportation back to Coyhaique.

 

Requirements and Restrictions:

  • Participants must be in good physical shape and able to trek for several hours on uneven terrain.

 

Necessary gear:

  • Appropriate mountain trekking clothing, including thermal layers, waterproofs, trekking boots, hat, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a backpack of at least 30 liters.

 

Required Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Basic mountain trekking skills.
  • Participants per Guide: Maximum of 4 participants per guide.
