Embark on an exhilarating 3-day expedition to the majestic Cerro El Plomo, one of the most iconic and sacred peaks of the Central Andes. Standing at an altitude of 5,424 meters (17,795 feet), this mountain is not only a challenge for mountaineers but also a site of deep historical significance, where the famous mummy of an Inca child—sacrificed as part of the Capacocha ritual—was discovered over 500 years ago.
The expedition to Cerro El Plomo is an unforgettable journey. Over the course of three days, we will immerse ourselves in breathtaking landscapes and the ancestral culture of the Andes, reaching the summit of one of the most renowned peaks in the Metropolitan Region.

Duration: 3 – 5 days
Difficulty Level: Easy technical level, Intermediate physical demand
Best Season: Typically climbed in spring or summer, though it is possible to ascend even in winter.
Requirements and Restrictions:
- Participants must be in good physical shape and able to hike for several hours on uneven terrain.
- Prior acclimatization necessary (e.g., climbing Cerro Leoneras with a altitude camp one week before).
Required Experience and Technical Skills:
- Basic mountain trekking skills.
Participants per Guide: Maximum of 4 participants per guide.
